3 BODY QIGONG - MARCH INTO SPRING —-> CLASS DESCRIPTION
As we March into Spring, we stretch our bodies and shake off the deep sleep of winter. Following nature’s cycle, we begin to enter this transitional period and begin to stretch and move our bodies, preparing us for the powerful energy of Spring. This session will focus on movements for both seasons, as well as grounding practices. In this time of transition, we can feel like we are sleepwalking, physically and emotionally. It’s also a time when we can become run-down and sick, due to an imbalance in our energy system and a weakened immune system. Our class, as always, will focus on harmonizing and energizing our bodies and minds to keep us in a healthy, balanced state as we prepare to awaken and grow come spring!
This instructional class is included with the 7-Week Class Series. Register below. ($79!) You can also sign up for individual classes ($15).

3 BODY QIGONG - MARCH INTO SPRING —-> INSTRUCTION CLASS
Before our 7-week series begins, join me for a special instructional class designed to bridge the gap between the Winter and Spring seasons. We will introduce new movements for the upcoming session while fine-tuning our weekly foundational practice. I’ll also delve into the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), explaining how specific Qigong movements harmonize your organs during the shift from Winter to Spring. To support your transition, I’ll share seasonal lifestyle tips and dietary recommendations to keep you balanced and energized.

WHAT IS 3 BODY QIGONG?
3 Body Qigong is a mind/body practice based in Traditional Chinese Medicine, combining Korean Tao, modern Qigong practices, energy healing practices, and sound/music meditation. It combines body tapping, stretching, breath work, and meditation to improve energy flow throughout your body. These movements help increase vitality, flexibility, and power on a physical level and bring one to a more peaceful and relaxed state of mind. I hope you will join us and take the leap. Stress has become an epidemic in our culture. Experiencing constant stress has been proven to cause physical and emotional illness as well as a more negative worldview. In this workshop, we will explore where your stress is coming from, how it is affecting you as well as others. We will also focus on how to become aware of the stress you hold, and how to release it. Through lecture and relaxation techniques centered on meditation and movement, you can begin to release your stress and shift your focus inward to a more peaceful and joyous place. Leave with tools to continue your practice at home. Please bring a water bottle, a pen and paper. All ages are welcome!
NOTE: Due to the size of the room, capped at 12 participants. REGISTRATION BEGINS MARCH 13 AT 12:00PM.

Time to wake up from our winter slumber and follow nature’s path of rebirth and growth. As we follow the 5 Element Theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine, we begin focusing on our liver and gallbladder and the element of wood. During this season, as all of nature begins to wake up and grow, we may feel the power of earth’s energy throw us out of balance. This can make us feel a bit spacey and overwhelmed and we may feel anger and irritability become more prominent at this time.
During this session, we will practice movements to help keep our body and emotions grounded, balanced, and harmonized through additional movements for our liver and gallbladder as well as focusing on our lower dantian. We will continue with our full-body movements to stay balanced and harmonized, along with the new Spring movements.
