Reiki  (Energy Healing) Sessions   

 Reiki means universal life force energy.  Reiki (Ray-Key) is an ancient hands on healing practice created by Dr. Mikao Usui who rediscovered this healing method from his studies of ancient Tibetan texts.  Reiki promotes deep relaxation and relief from stress, the major root cause of many illnesses. Blood and energy circulate more easily when muscles and tissues are relaxed. Tense tissues block oxygen, hormones, nutrients and your defenses and collects waste, toxins and other substances in the body. As they accumulate, areas of your body can become a breeding ground for the development of cancerous cells, certain virus or bacteria. Reiki will help balance your energy which in turn, helps to stimulate your body's innate healing abilities, returning you to a better state of health.  Consider this as a form of preventive maintenance. Reiki is a complementary healing tool to western medicine, not necessary a cure all, although there have been documented cases of some amazing results!  Reiki is now offered at many of the top hospitals throughout the country.  In the Boston area, Beth Israel, Brigham and Women’s, Spaulding Rehab, Children's Hospital and Dana Farber to name a few.  

I am a certified Reiki Master healer and teacher. I offer healing sessions that generally run 50-60 minutes, although longer sessions are available.   I offer sessions at my home in Newton or Long Distance Reiki anywhere on the planet.
