3 BODY QIGONG FOR FALL - Class Description

According to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) each organ and season has a relationship with one another. For example, Fall’s relationship is with the lungs and large intestine. These particular organs are more susceptible to imbalance during the fall season, which can lead to illness in some individuals. This can happen for several reasons, such as disharmony between these organs, stagnant Qi resulting from excessive stress, or simply expelling too much Qi without replenishing it.  Our Fall 7-week seasonal practice will focus on learning new movements to help balance and harmonize our lungs and large intestines to keep our bodies and minds healthy and happy. We will also continue with our other full body weekly movements to offer a complete preventive maintenance practice for the Fall.

If you want to sign up for the 7 Week Series and receive the Lecture/Practice class included for free, register below. ($79!) You can take advantage of this rate from now until October 28. Then you can sign up for individual classes ($15).

3 BODY QIGONG FOR FALL – Lecture & Practice Class

Prior to our Fall session, I will offer a special instructional class that will focus on practicing the new movements we will be implementing for this 7-week series, as well as fine-tuning other movements that we continue to practice weekly. I will explain more about Traditional Chinese Medicine, including the seasonal practices, and why we do specific movements, to help balance and harmonize our Lungs (yin) and large intestines (yang) at this time of year. I will also offer you guidance on how to navigate the Fall season by practicing qigong movements, recommending foods to eat at this time of year, as well as sharing lifestyle tips.

WHAT IS 3 BODY QIGONG?

3 Body Qigong is a mind/body practice based in Traditional Chinese Medicine, combining Korean Tao, modern Qigong practices, energy healing practices, and sound/music meditation. It combines body tapping, stretching, breath work, and meditation to improve energy flow throughout your body. These movements help increase vitality, flexibility, and power on a physical level and bring one to a more peaceful and relaxed state of mind. I hope you will join us and take the leap.
