3 BODY QIGONG FOR LATE SUMMER


As we move into late summer, according to Traditional Chinese Medicine, we will be focused on our stomach which is most affected by worry, anxiety, or overthinking. The stomach is responsible not only for digesting food and liquid but also for digesting your emotions and thoughts. Through tapping, meridian stretching, meditation and practicing feeling energy, we will balance and harmonize our body for this time of year which is about grounding our body and mind and balancing our energy. We will also continue our usual weekly full-body movements such as body tapping, meridian stretching, practice feeling energy and music/sound meditation. Consider this preventive maintenance for your body and mind.

NOTE: This class will be offered online through a Zoom meeting. You do not need to have your own Zoom account. The classes will be recorded in case you miss them or want to practice the following week. A replay link will be sent out the day after each class and available to watch for one week. Zoom live or practice with the recorded class from wherever you are!

WHAT IS 3 BODY QIGONG?

3 Body Qigong is a mind/body practice based in Traditional Chinese Medicine, combining Korean Tao, modern qigong practices, energy healing practices, and sound/music meditation. It combines body tapping, stretching, breathwork, and meditation to improve the flow of energy throughout your body. These movements help to increase vitality, flexibility, and power on a physical level and bring one to a more peaceful place. I hope you will join us and take the leap.

All ages are welcome. Please bring a mat.  Some movements will be on the floor. (Modifications will be offered if you can’t go on the mat).
