3 BODY QIGONG FOR HEALTH & HEALING

As we move into late summer and fall, the change in the weather and the sunlight begin to send a signal to all of nature that the slow transition to winter is beginning. Our bodies do the same thing, following nature through the changes. As our bodies begin to transition, we become more susceptible to weakened immune systems (colds/allergies/fatigue to name a few). Now more than ever, we need to keep our immune systems strong. This new 7 week series will consist of practicing a lot of movements to keep you healthy and strong by releasing any blockages in your energy channels that may be causing your body to not operate efficiently. The flow of blood and energy to all your organs, muscles, bones, ligaments and facia is imperative to heal your body and keep it healthy for a healthy body and peaceful mind.

For those of you who have not taken any of the classes before, this series of classes are all about moving energy in your body, through movement, and quieting your mind (through sound or guided meditation). Beginners and advanced practitioners of all ages are welcome. Please bring a mat as some movements will be on the floor. (Modifications will be offered if you can’t go on the mat).
